Excellent place to stay en route to Cornwall
Freshly cooked and excellent breakfast. Ideally placed as stop over en route to Cornwall. Added bonus of woodland walk with bluebells.

We had a lovely stay at Lobhill Farmhouse B&B.
The rooms are cozy, comfortable and clean, breakfast was delicious and Jane was a great host. We felt very well cared for!
The B&B is easy to find and is in a great location for exploring Dartmoor and some of the cute surrounding villages.
If you want something fun to do one day, we recommend heading to Alder Vineyard next door for a tour and tasting.

Lovely place to stay
This was a great bed & breakfast to stay in. Jane, & the son we met, were very welcoming and helpful. We stayed in the yellow room, which was bright & cheerful, with a large en suite shower room. Jane catered well for my gluten-free diet & the bread was delicious. Fridge under the stairs available for guests to use. Lovely views. Definitely highly recommend & would stay again if in the area. Thanks Jane.

Excellent B&B – 5* plus!
This is probably the best b&b I have experienced in the UK. Such a beautiful farmhouse in stunning countryside, gorgeous kingsize room, cute little balcony to have a cup of tea in the morning overlooking the garden and woods beyond. Our host, Jane, has put thoughtful attention to detail to every aspect of the stay – fresh, delicious breakfast, refrigerated, bottled tap water available so easy to refill water bottle instead of having to buy plastic, books to borrow, all products locally sourced – and offering to give us a lift to the wedding venue. We walked across the woods to Alders vineyard – also a gem if you like local food, run by Jane’s sister – good vegetarian options and they were very attentive and adaptable. We will definitely be returning for longer, but also a good stop off if you want to break up the drive to Cornwall.

A Wonderful Stay!
This BnB was fantastic – our host, Jane, was lovely and the whole experience had wonderful little touches. Our room was serviced every day and we had homemade fudge! The breakfast was delicious – you can taste the food was of great quality and lots of choice. Filled us up for the whole day! We had a walk into the woods and it was idyllic. We had wonderful weather and it was our first time to this beautiful part of the UK, needless to say.. we will be back! 😊

Very good accommodation with a great host!
We had a wonderful stay at Lobhill Farmhouse. We stayed there for 4 nights during Easter vacation. The house is cosy and the host Jane super friendly and extremely helpful. The freshly cooked English breakfast in a beautiful traditional kitchen always gave us a great start in the day and our kids loved it, too! Our 2 rooms were comfortable, super clean and tidy. The location is perfect for daily excurses and trips in the area around. The family vineyard is a short walk away for a nice lunch.
