Stop searching, this is the place you want to spend your vacation at! We stayed here for 3 nights with our 14-month old and it was wonderful. Jane prepared “The Shed” (ed. now named Lew Valley Lodge) with some treats for us upon our arrival and was very responsive when we had any requests. After long days of exploring, we loved that there were multiple launch spots throughout the rental: we could either relax in the living room and overlook the hilly vineyards or enjoy the sun on the couch on the deck. In general the layout of the entire place fit our needs well: well equipped kitchen with even a milk foamer, each bedroom had their own bathroom, there was a little separate mudroom prior to the main living area (was great to store all the baby gear), and the best of all, it was a bit apart from the rest of the BnB so you had ample privacy. On our second day there, I told my husband, this is what vacation should feel like.
Only minor downside, we cooked quite a bit and wished there was a small dishwasher in the kitchen. Nevertheless, we would book this place in a heartbeat again.
